Maurice's Auto Repair and Towing

Dishonest, predatory, and completely botched a $2,300+ repair. I brought my car to Maurice to fix multiple oil leaks. They diagnosed it as a rear main seal, oil pan gasket, and rear axle seals. Because they were dropping the transmission for the rear main seal, I explicitly told them I had an aftermarket, heavy-duty clutch setup. I asked them to check it for oil contamination and let me know if it needed replacement, as I had the correct upgraded parts on hand. A few days later, they called to say it was ready. When I asked about the clutch, they claimed it was "fine." However, when I arrived to pay, the owner suddenly claimed my "engine and transmission need to be replaced." This was a massive red flag. Why would a shop perform a $2,300 gasket repair before telling a customer their entire drivetrain was shot? In reality, they likely just didn't understand that a built engine with large cams and a high-performance clutch naturally makes more mechanical noise. Within a few weeks, the car was leaking engine oil and transmission fluid again. I brought it back under warranty. They claimed it wasn't leaking and offered no solutions. The owner asked me to come in on a Sunday to discus

I had a great experience at Maurices working with Dominique and Jackie. Very pleasant. I needed a new engine in my truck and they did the job and so far haven't had any problems. I don't live here and they communicated with my husband on all the work that it needed. I have had other experiences with mechanics and they were not good and overcharged on everything. So I really don't trust mechanics but my brother told me to look into them and they were honest. They gave me 6 month warranted and so far very pleased with them. In one occasion they had a nice gentlemen drop me off at home so I wouldn't have to wait. So overall good service

I had a tire actually come off the rim on my corvette!! I’m in the middle of nowhere and was happy I had bought an AAA membership. I called them and Maurice auto repair for a new tire. He had to go an hour away to get my tire. After 9 calls and AAA NOT HELPING. I called back Maurice and he sent a tow truck right out and 35 minutes later I’m done!! No hassle even for an out of town customer! If I lived close , this is where I would go!!!

I had an excellent experience with Mauricio’s Auto Repair. I first met Mr. Mauricio at First Watch and had the opportunity to learn more about his business. As a fellow business owner, I place a high value on building and supporting strong small-business relationships, and this experience exceeded expectations. Mr. Mauricio and his team took outstanding care of my 2018 Jeep Compass, which required both vehicle service and mechanical service. The work was completed professionally, efficiently, and with clear communication throughout the process. The vehicle now runs as if it were brand new. It’s clear that Mr. Mauricio takes great pride in his work and in delivering quality service to his customers. I highly recommend Mauricio’s Auto Repair and will absolutely continue to use and refer their services in the future. Thank you again to Mr. Mauricio and his team for the excellent work.
